The Legal Terms & Conditions (T&C), also known as Terms of Use, appear on the user sign-up forms. Libraries are responsible for creating their own terms and conditions that comply with local, state, and federal law. Consult with your library's counsel or city attorney with any questions.
When you fill out your "Terms of Use" page, the actual terms and conditions appear in TWO places:
- an actual standalone page (so you can link people directly to it), AND
- in a checkbox that users must check to create an account
To edit your Terms, visit the Terms of Use page as an administrator:
- https://YOURSITE.bookpoints.org/content/terms-use
- click the Edit button
- Update your terms of use
- click the Save button
